Journalist with Telemar TV station. He hosted the program “Litoral Pacífico”, (Pacific Coast) in Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca.

Two men riding a motorcycle in the streets of Buenaventura shot him four times at point-blank range as he was nearing the TV station.
Found guilty was Miguel Angel Garcés Angulo, and the sentence has been on appeal since October 2006.
